 Hermetic seal based on glass to metal seal require (1) lower working temperature sealing glass frit and an appropriate oxidation of the metal for a chemical sealing under a match seal while for a mechanical sealing, the metal needs to be free of oxidation and the material selections are toward to a radial compression. It is being called as compression seal. We offer both seals along with S-glass and devitrifying glass seals. In our PDF list contains some of the glasses we have formulated over the years. They are not for sale but we utilize them as a part of our service of sealing.
