The photo below shows a typical turn-key component supplied by IJ. It contains several components including a glass window, ceramic feedthrough, precision machined header, conductor pins, porous metal mesh and sheet metal forming. Our processing steps include:
- Ceramic to metal seal for the feed through
- Metallization around the window for the seal to the header
- Soldering of the window to the header
- Au plating
- Optical coating (A/R) on the clear aperture of the window
- Welding the alloy pieces to the header
- Relevant testing of optical quality, hermeticity, pressure testing, thermal cycle testing
and window adhesion testing.
We are not limited to the above materials and processes. Starting with our design review, pre-stress analysis and review of all thermo-mechanical issues, discussion of process options, initial prototypes, any R&D through to complete turn-key production.
