We have provided assistance on numerous design, process and R & D to customers for years. Some examples of recent R & D projects include biomedical implant seals of ceramic and metals, medical devices, vehicle radiator, high power electronics, optical packages, heat sinks and ceramic heaters. As the company name implies, research and design work is a part of our business. IJ Research offers R & D services in various fields such as aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, drug and pharmaceutical, food industry, medical, space program, oil and gas, semiconductor, telecommunication and almost all where primarily glass, ceramic and metal are used.

The IJ Research facility contains micro structural analysis instrumentation in house.  As needed, we use UCI facility for further in-depth analysis and the following photo shows its SEM that we often use for the materials characteristics.  Others are mechanical testing machines, AA, x-ray diffractometer, Auger spectroscopy, etc.
